The room was really nice and the view from the terrace over the gardens and pool was superb and overlooked Cordoba. We had drinks on the terrace in the evening before dining. The food was very disappointing, the main course was inedible.
We did not like the food, it was very disappointing and not the standard we were expecting.
Nice location at the surrounding of Cordoba. Nice room en friendly personel in the restaurant.
The reception people were not friendly. The sfere of the parador is a bit to business like.
It,s set in a beautiful quiet location within easy reach of the centre via a bus ride from across the street 1.40 euro, return by taxi 8 to 10 euros The hotel itself is slightly jaded looking but the staff were very friendly and helpful, the grounds and gardens are excellent with a lovely pool area.Overall we really enjoyed our stay at the Parador.
I think it is a little bit pricey
Lack Of staff, restaurant did not open until 8.00 pm, Diabetic husband lack of available food. Too far from the centre of the old city and activity. Not Hotel fault my decision to stay there but web says only 3 km from Centre but seems much further. They should have more available food as you are so far away from any shops. Lack of staff for any sort of assistance.
Good location-good service-reasonable priced for the elderly.
Rather disappointing experience.Staff were rude and un helpful.Bar. Coffee not available after 12 !!! "Bar is closed".Location is good but I dont think it worth the effort or money !
Large room with balcony and fine view over gardens and city. Very big swimming pool and shady garden. Wide choice for excellent breakfasts. Evening meals good. Helpful reception staff.
More variety on the menu if you are staying for a few days - it doesn't change. Meals and drinks should be signed for on each occasion along with the room number. This happens at some paradors. My final bill was incorrect and I paid for someone else's dinner and drinks - my fault for not checking more closely, but had I had chits it would have been easier for me to work out exactly what I owed.
Excellent dining room and staff in the dining area
More advice needed on places of interest in cordoba no literature on cordoba in hotel
Comfortable, clean hotel for a low price.
Hotel is far from the city so driving is necessary.
Large, comfortable rooms. Clean and well maintained.
Ongoing construction of new housing near the hotel may detract from the tranquility, although we didn't find it to be a problem.
The view over the City from the Terrace.
Breakfast, Service poor, and choice limited, bread did not seem fresh, and the coffee was dreadful, normally servered luke warm.
terrace, and the rooms were large with a nice balcony with a table and chairs
Reception staff could be more pleasant and friendly.
Room was excellent with WIFI available. Food in the restaurant for both breakfast and dinner was outstanding. Hotel is set in lovely grounds.
Reception staff were nor over friendly, and their English was not as fluent as we might have expected from an international style hotel. We had a slight problem booking in without a passport which we had left elsewhere for safety. Perhaps the website should make it clear a passport is required. When checking out my credit card had problems and only worked on the third attempt. It had been used for the previous 2 weeks in Spain without difficulty. The hotel is out of town and perhaps a shuttle bus service could be organised. Having said that, getting a taxi was not difficult and there is a nearby bus we could of used.
This parador is not as roomy or overall as good as the Parador in Salamanca - it badly needs the bathroom fixtures and fittings upgraded for example
Huge room. Very tastefully done. Good bed. Great price on Booking.
They have excellent gardens around the hotel with fountains, but they have not kept them up. The fountains have leaves, the gardens are not neat, the hedges are not trimmed. I know this sounds picky, but it is a very nice hotel that looks a little shabby around the edges.
